Our Insurance Approach
At Century City Aesthetic Dentistry, we operate as a fee-for-service (FFS) practice, allowing us to focus on providing exceptional, patient-centered care without the limitations of insurance networks. While we aren’t in-network with any providers, our team is happy to assist with submitting claims to maximize your benefits. However, it's important to remember that your policy is a contract between you and your insurance provider, rather than between your provider and our office. While we cannot guarantee any estimated coverage, we will strive to ensure you receive the maximum benefits available. Please remember that you are responsible for the full amount if your insurance benefits cover less than expected. If you wish to determine your anticipated coverage, we can submit a pre-treatment estimate. Typically, your insurer will provide a detailed response within 4-6 weeks.
Financial Arrangements
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If extensive dental treatment is needed or if dental insurance applies, you can discuss financial arrangements with our office manager. Feel free to ask about our financing options. While your dental care is our main focus, we are also mindful of your financial situation within responsible business practices.
Cosmetic Dentistry & Insurance
Cosmetic dental treatments are typically not included in the coverage of most dental insurance plans; however, some partial benefits may be offered if the teeth are damaged or have had prior dental work such as fillings, bonding, or crowns. Additionally, most insurers will cover around 80% of the expenses for silver fillings on molar and bicuspid teeth. If a pricier porcelain or tooth-colored filling is selected, the insurance might still calculate their payout based on the cost of the more affordable silver filling.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make an appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time. If we do not receive notice of your schedule change, we will unfortunately have to charge your account.
