If you opt for in-office treatment, we will schedule your session. Zoom! Teeth Whitening can lighten your teeth by up to eight shades in just one hour. For at-home kits, we will provide detailed instructions to ensure safe and effective use.

If you have sensitive teeth, there are still options for achieving a whiter smile with minimal discomfort. We offer treatments like Zoom! Teeth Whitening and custom whitening trays designed to minimize sensitivity. Using fluoride-rich toothpaste or mouthwash before your appointment can also help reduce discomfort.
Professional teeth whitening treatments at PCCD use higher concentrations of whitening or bleaching ingredients than you would find in OTC teeth whitening strips or kits. These higher concentrations make for drastic changes in a much smaller time frame. Where most OTC whitening strips call for up to 14 days of wear, professional whitening can be achieved in as little as one in-office appointment depending on the degree of discoloration.
For the duration of teeth whitening after treatment, it does in large part depend on how well you care for your teeth afterward. Professional teeth whitening, like Zoom!, can last between 12 and 24 months. If you can avoid drinks that stain teeth, like coffee, tea, and red wine, then your results will definitely be prolonged. If you do occasionally consume drinks or food that tend to stain teeth, be sure to drink through a straw and brush and floss your teeth soon afterwards.
